Description
Brand new studio album from this Sydney-based supergroup, of sorts, who feature Mark Roxburgh of Decline Of The Reptiles (and, previously, ME 262), Brett Myers of Died Pretty as the main engine drivers. They've previously had two albums out on the legendary Citadel imprint, but now that it's largely ending operations, their new one is through us. Mixing in a lifetime of influences that brings in the likes of the Velvets, Television, Stones, Big Star, Stooges and various UK post-punk acolytes, Joeys Coop play with a grit and passion in that classic '80s Sydney post-Birdman vein. They'll be playing up and down the east coast in the second half of the year, with promotions for the release handled by David Laing Publicity.
